Today I wanted to eat something lite and healthy and skip making a big dinner. Strawberries are my favorite, it's always there in my fridge. We wanted to sit. relax and watch TV, so I thought of this simple recipe.

One cup (144 g) of strawberries contains approximately 45 calories (188 kJ) and is an excellent source of vitamin C and flavonoids.
Ingredients:

1 Cup Strawberries, washed and chopped to small pieces
1 Jalapeño pepper
1/4 cup Cilantro chopped
1/4 cup Onions chopped
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp Pepper powder
2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
Method:

1. Mix all the ingredients and serve with your choice of chips. I chose Corn Chips.
2. It's a great snack or a very very simple lite dinner ;-)
