Crescent Strawberry Swirl Cones

Sunday breakfast is a question when you get up late and running out of ideas to make a quick easy breakfast. hmm... what to do now? I opened the fridge and saw two ingredients laying there and calling me. It was the crescent rolls and the strawberry preserves. OK, lets try something new with this. So I got this quick idea and it turned out so good and yummy and flaky. We had it with our morning Tea. This swirl cones can be served as a snack or breakfast or appetizer or dessert with simple variations or as it is.

Ingredients:
------------

1 Pillsbury Crescent Roll
1/4 cup Strawberry preserves (or your choice of preserves and you can add chopped nuts too or honey)

Method:
---------
1. Preheat oven as per the package instructions on the crescent rolls. (about 350F)
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and roll out the crescent roll dough carefully.
3. Attach or stick the cut sides by pressing around to form a single sheet of dough like a rectangular pizza dough.
4. With a brush apply the strawberry preserves evenly on top, leaving a border of 1/4 inch, so that while we roll it  the filling should not come out.
5. Roll the dough starting on one side.
6. Now cut 1 inch thick slices and place it the baking sheet with 2 inches apart so that it will have space to rise while baking.
7. Bake if as per the box instructions or for about 10 mins.
8. Enjoy your swirl cones.
